REWILD Landscapes Takes on the Dragons' Den!

REWILD Landscapes, an Ottawa-based ecological landscaping company, is thrilled to have appeared on CBC's Dragon's Den! We were so excited to share our passion for creating sustainable outdoor spaces with a wider audience and showcase the power of rewilding to transform urban landscapes.

The Journey to the Den

Our journey to Dragon's Den began with a simple idea: to create beautiful and functional landscapes that benefit both people and the planet. As a queer-owned and operated business, we're committed to building a company that reflects our values of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and community engagement.

We've faced many challenges and celebrated countless successes along the way. From our early days working on small residential projects to tackling larger-scale installations, we've always strived to push the boundaries of ecological landscaping and inspire others to embrace sustainable practices.

Preparing for the Pitch & Filming the Episode

Preparing for and filming our Dragon's Den pitch was a whirlwind! We spent countless hours refining our message, practicing our presentation, and getting ready to face the Dragons. Stepping onto the set was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, but ultimately an unforgettable experience. The energy in the Den was palpable, and the Dragons were insightful and engaging. We had a blast sharing our story and vision for a wilder Ottawa.

Reflections and Lessons Learned

The Dragon's Den experience has been incredibly valuable. It's challenged us to think critically about our business, refine our strategies, and strengthen our communication skills. We're grateful for the opportunity to share our story with a wider audience and inspire others to embrace sustainable practices.

Looking Ahead

We're excited about the future of REWILD Landscapes and the growing movement towards rewilding urban spaces. We believe that everyone can play a role in creating a greener, healthier planet, and we're committed to providing the resources and expertise to make that happen.
