Our Service Process

Ready to start rewilding? We’ve got you covered!

Inquiry

It all starts with a conversation! Just fill out the form on our contact page. This will enter your project details into our system.

Consultation

  • For consultations we charge $250 for up to the first hour, and $75 for every hour thereafter.

Note that we have a one-time travel fee of $75 if one-way travel is 50km or more outside of Orleans.

During the in-person consultation, you share your vision with us and we discuss how we can help you achieve your goals! From here, clients usually book a design.

Design

  • The average suburban design price starts at approximately $2000-$3000. Price varies depending on size, complexity, and detail. This price includes two revisions.

50% deposit is required for booking.

Each design is bespoke and created in colour and to-scale. It can be used by any installer (including us!). Two revisions are included.

Installation/DIY

  • Starting at $15 per square foot.

Once your design is finalized, we can prepare an installation quote or give you instructions to start your DIY. We coordinate the delivery of materials and plants.

Client Portals

Our clients enjoy access to our Client Portal for all project communication and files. Designs come with a bonus portal containing the final design file and your curated plant & feature database.

🐦 Restoring Natural Ecosystems: Creating habitat and supporting biodiversity on your property.

⏳️ Building for Long-Term Resilience: Ensuring your landscape is adaptable and requires minimal inputs.

Horticultural Consultation

Teaching homeowners about the plants they have and how to care for them - so they can have more stewardship over their landscaping. Appreciate your plants by caring for the soil and learn how to prevent plant diseases and pests.

Garden Overhaul

This service revitalizes overgrown or neglected gardens through intensive weeding and expert care. We use ecological pruning methods to restore your landscape’s health and long-term resilience.

Invasive Species Removal

This service safely removes invasive plants (like Buckthorn or Goutweed) from your space using ecological methods, an essential step in restoring your property's ecosystem.

Turf Alternatives

Conventional lawns require immense amounts of water to stay green. We replace them with beautiful, sustainable alternatives—from native meadows to patios—that give back to you and the earth.

Rain gardens filter pollutants from rainwater, replenishing groundwater naturally. Our FLP Certified rain gardens meet Rain Ready Ottawa standards & qualify for rebates.

Rain Gardens & Rain Water Capture

Mushroom Gardening

We inoculate logs with edible mushrooms—a perfect, productive solution for densely shaded areas. This provides a nutritious food source for you and local wildlife, while the mushrooms act as natural decomposers to enrich your soil.

Invasive Species Replacement

This type of consultation will identify invasive plants in your landscaping (such as Japanese barberry). We will replace them with native varieties to balance the ecosystem.

Homegrown National Park

Let your home be an oasis to you and your local biodiversity. Encourage wildlife to use your landscape as a corridor. Enjoy the feeling of camping without ever leaving home.

(Sub)Urban Food Forests

We design and create perennial food systems for urban and suburban lots. These designs can be shared with neighbours, promoting community resilience and helping to future-proof our city.
